It’s so hot and humid that even my ears start spouting water as soon as I enter the house. Outside is okay.
There is a shelter for disadvantaged people in Iraklio, Crete that accepts a.o. clothes, run by a father and son. Anyone know where this is?

Iraklio, Crete, has a beautiful historic Venetian port. The Amerigo Vespuci visits Iraklio. Where does it dock? twitpic.com/gjr21
@sugarenia γιορτάζεις; Χρόνια πολλά!
Someone just came to hose down the nearest transformer pole with a water canon! WTF? twitpic.com/gjbew
@stazybohorn Tell me about it! The one night I decide to turn in early, the whole system collapses, no power for almost 6 hours :-/
No power since 3 AM last night. If this kind of humidity kills the transformers, I wonder what havoc the rain will wreck come winter
